Gastronomic tourism

If you opt for Gastronomic Tourism, hunting products are the specialty of the area. You will be able to please your palate with venison, pheasant, good woman partridge, rice with rabbit, etc.

In the neighboring coastal towns of Barbate or Conil you can taste the delicacies of the sea with the best fresh fish.

Be sure to try the fish from the Strait of Gibraltar area: almadraba bluefin tuna, mackerel and sardine.

With quality raw materials, you will taste succulent dishes: fried or grilled cuttlefish, noodles with mackerel, onion or sautéed tuna, dogfish in marinade or tomato, stuffed squid, etc.

We must also highlight the salted tuna itself: mojama, hijada tuna in oil and cured roe, as well as tagarninas.

Sunshine Tour – Circuito Hípico del Sol

Sunshine Tour, a major international dressage and show jumping event.

The prestigious Montenmedio Equestrian Center brings together the best riders from around the world in three-star jumping and dressage tests.

Nearly 1,500 horses participate in this great event, classified as the largest Winter Competition in Europe, which brings together a caravan of more than 10,000 professionals every year.

This great event always attracts thousands of horse fans. The El Paso Hotel is the closest accommodation to the Equestrian Center where the competition is held.
